A Painting with a Powerful Story | HOPE COUNSELLING

  I recently had the pleasure of seeing a painting that has a powerful story to tell. The painting, which is currently hanging in the church choir room, was a gift to me from a past client. She was an artist, and this painting depicts her life. The painting shows her as a child, experiencing domestic trauma. The deft palate knife strokes symbolize her anger and sadness by way of swirling degrees of darkness. After counselling at Hope, she experiences positive changes in her life now as an adult. Her recovery is depicted by her journey from darkness to light. I was struck by the power of this painting, and I thought you might be interested in learning more about it. A Wonderful Children's Sunday at SPB

  What a Wonderful Sunday! We had a wonderful Sunday at St Pauls and St. Barnabas Church of Ireland. Seeing so many families come together to worship God and learn about His love was heartwarming. Play it By Ear We were incredibly thankful for the Play It by Ear drama group ministry. They shared a powerful message about trusting God and using the gifts He has given us for His Kingdom. The kids were engaged and learned a lot from the presentation. The Play it by Ear drama group is a Christian drama group based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They have been ministering to children and families for over 20 years. Their mission is to "use drama to bring the gospel to life and inspire people to follow Jesus." The Play it by Ear drama group shared a powerful message about trusting God and using the gifts He has given us for His Kingdom.
