A Gift of Encouragement for Our Church

Giving thanks for the generous support of Crossings Community Church, Oklahoma City

We are deeply thankful to Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City for their generous support of St Paul’s & St Barnabas.

In this, our 175th year, their kindness is a powerful reminder that the life and witness of the church have always been sustained by the faithfulness of God and the generosity of His people. We are grateful not only for this gift, but for the encouragement it brings as we seek to serve our changing neighbourhood with hope, compassion and the good news of Jesus.

    Your support helps strengthen the work of worship, welcome, pastoral care, discipleship and community service at St Paul’s & St Barnabas.

Why this support matters

Our calling is not simply to maintain a building; it is to be a worshipping, witnessing and serving Christian community in North Belfast. We want to welcome students and newcomers, stand alongside families under pressure, create community for those who are lonely, care for people in need and proclaim the unchanging hope of Jesus Christ.

That ministry comes with real costs. Heating, insurance, repairs, worship, outreach and keeping our spaces open for the community all require a secure financial foundation. Our annual operating need is around £85,000—an important challenge, but one that becomes possible when we respond together with faith and generosity.

We give thanks for every person, congregation and organisation that chooses to stand alongside us. Many generations before us gave faithfully so that there would still be a Christian witness here today. We now have the opportunity to build on that foundation for those who will come after us.
