Little Saints || Shaping a Hopeful Future || SPB in the Community

As part of our 175th year at St Paul’s & St Barnabas, we are delighted to be launching a new Mothers & Toddlers group, called Little Saints.

This is a simple but significant step as we seek to shape a hopeful future — for Christ and for His city. For 175 years, this place has been shaped by generations of families, carers, and children. Little Saints is one small way we are investing again in the youngest among us, and in those who care for them day in, day out.

Little Saints will meet on Tuesdays, offering a relaxed, welcoming space for parents, carers, and toddlers to gather. There will be time to play, time to chat, space to breathe, and a warm welcome for everyone who comes through the door — whether this is your first connection with the church or one of many.

We know that the early years can be joyful, exhausting, isolating, and full of questions — often all at once. Little Saints is not about having it all together. It’s about community, kindness, and creating a place where relationships can grow naturally.

Launching this group in our anniversary year feels fitting. As we look back with thanksgiving for those who came before us, we also look forward with hope — believing that shaping the future often begins in small, ordinary moments: shared toys, conversations over tea, laughter, and the building of trust.

Little Saints is open to all. You don’t need to be part of the church, and there is no pressure — just an open door and a genuine welcome.

For more information, please visit our website, where you can register your interest via the online form. This helps us plan well and keep you updated as the group gets underway.

We look forward to welcoming many little saints — and the grown-ups who love them — in the weeks ahead.
